I'm Willmar, a software engineer living in the Netherlands
The domain translates to 'with double l' for any non dutch folks reading, As many with a name that spelled with a slight difference from the conventional spelling can attest, we commonly have to correct folks when giving our name (for example when giving our emails).
My hope with the domain name was to minimize the general "that's with double l" conversation
that happens by putting that in the domain, sadly this obviously did not fix the issue.
It did increase the awkward looks i get with the folks who do spot the domain and then have to change
my name in the email to add the missing l.
Yes it does, that's fine.
I have used TTS all my life to read my own writings back to me so i can fix
obvious issues in the flow, spelling mistakes and the habit of reusing words.
We now live in the age of TTS sounding human, but that TTS does not feel like me.
secondly the "good" tts voices are associated with ai slop, but these are my posts and mine alone.
Just take a look around! But in general i think it's mainly gonna be a place to share my info about my projects and maybe some other random thoughts.
